Color Challenge • Mustard Yellow

The Color Challenge continues with our post creations inspired by Mustard Yellow and shades thereof. The color mustard is right up there with turmeric and ochre in its grittier dirtier look than sunflower yellow lets say. I find the browness to it very appealing, It sits beautifully with blues from the sea and chartreuse, which I love. I continue to create with my favorite echinacea flower silhouette. She sits here with a steel blue background and flanked by two other echinaceas one in grey and one in white.

  1. Deborah - your response to the mustard yellow challenge is great! Although, I think your work is great, so maybe I'm biased!

So far, I think you're the happiest participant with April's color!
