A great thing happened today as I volunteered to help my son's art teacher with some printing with her young art students. The children were drawing turkeys and then printing feathers for the bodies. I was inspired to do some printing of my own with feathers. I used silver ink on construction paper because that what the children were using. I didn't want anything to be too precious while making the art. The work ended being a bit old fashion, primitive and sweet.
