Taking Flight Again.....Getting ready for a Blog Hop with some prep work

I wanted to share with you that around 50 Surface patterns designers from around the world are gathering together in a fantastic bloghop, it will be open on 

Thursday 10 of January and run until  Sunday 13 January.

This bloghop is our way to celebrate the New Year and we thought the best way to 
celebrate is by creating and doing what we love.

The theme is "Let's fly" and we will be using 

Emerald the 2013 Pantone color of the year as a main color .

Each designer will be creating a mini collection based on their own interpretation of the theme and showcasing their unique style.

I hope you can join us and visit some wonderful blogs and enjoy some great art.

Here is a peek at what  have working on as I get ready for making patterns 
for the opening on Thursday.
I am working on color combinations today to see 
what sits well with emerald green.
