Word Path • Old Words with New Art

Here are some pieces from my final collage. I just loved these two sections of my final collage piece!
I made the collage art to include a Word Path, you can see the full artwork when scroll down.
As I have mentioned before, this was an assignment for the Lilla Roger's course, Make Art That Sells. What a great way to build up a portfolio.

Art Every Day Twenty- Nine • The Traveling Studio

Day Twenty-Eight of Making Art Every Day

Today was a travel day of sorts. Spent time at both my son's school working on part of a fundraising project. Holiday wreathes are going to be made and sold with lovely art stamped bows on them. This is where I come in, I spent the day stamping ribbons for the bows, hence the traveling studio! Box and bag in tow I brought my supplies and set up shop. Here is some of the creative work done today.

Art Every Day Twelve • Small Art

I am participating in Art Everyday Month. I have joined a group of creative people committing themselves to more creativity for the month of November.

Day Twelve of Making Art Every Day! I am getting ready for two shows, so I am in production mode. I have made some small art which I call pull outs of my main print designs. I have a few rules I follow when it comes to art and having affordable art at a smaller price point, along with the pricier items is one of them and good business. It is also a great way to share your work. My other belief is giving away some art every now again, be it to friends or as a donation to a cause. This reminds me of one of my favorite past posts about Lessons I Learned in Art School. You can read it here. It is hard just to pick one lesson to share but one of the best ones was about art/design"If it doesn't work in black and white, color will not fix it".
