Art Every Day Three • Birds, Birds and more Birds

I am participating in Art Everyday Month. I have joined a group of creative people committing themselves to more creativity for the month of November.

I am inspired by nature in my work and I love our winged friends for their fabulous shapes, colors and overall beauty. Here is a peek at some of my favorite books with beautiful bird artwork. 

I find myself on day three of Making Art Every Day. I don't usually blog on the weekends so a finished piece is in the "making stages". I am revisiting carving a block for some printing. I had some bird motifs that I worked on back in August. I always thought that these birds would make great stamps. I have chosen to work on two for now. I sketched directly onto the block. I will get to the carving tomorrow with tools at the ready. See you then.
