Mosaic of Art Every Day and Word Path • Time

Day Thirty of Making Art Every Day.

I have put together a mosaic of a few pieces of art made for this past months challenge

The Art Everyday Month Challenge comes to a close today.
made the commitment to make art everyday and it was great to get the creativity going.
Thank you to Leah Piken Kolidas, blog author of Creative Every Day Blog for putting together the AEDM challenge. I met many wonderful artists and enjoyed seeing everyones work and beautiful blogs.
The challenge was a good artistic discipline to follow.
Remember if you only have an hour to make art, make that hour count.
If you have young children as I do, that might be all the time you get in a day.
I have to work fast and embrace the imperfections in my art as character.
The spills, drips an smudges make great art and as artists we can create anywhere from kitchen tables, to school parking lots while waiting for your children.

Word Paths have  been a Friday feature showcasing possibilities in written words, creative process and artistic pieces from the beginning of my blog. You can go here, to my first post on this project and see how it all started.

My Word Path for Today

"I don't need more time, I just need a deadline."

This comes from a wise woman who crossed my path recently and she happens to be an artist as well. Perfect for today as is the last day of many deadlines!
The best part of this AEDM challenge was the commitment to the making of art everyday. To be honest I work better with a deadline. How about you?

Happy Weekend • Set Some Deadlines • Enjoy the Language of Words

AEDM brings together a group of creative people committing themselves to more creativity for the month of November. Stop by Leah's websiteCreative Every Day and check out fellow artist and their creations for Art Every Day Month.

Thank you for stopping by.
